Our 2.0 oz Firm Medium Weight Cutaway Backing provides permanent stability with a crisper, more structured hand than standard soft cutaway. This firmer texture helps keep embroidery designs sharp, properly registered, and distortion-free on a wide range of fabrics while remaining comfortable for wearables like polos, uniforms, and sweatshirts. Best suited for medium-density embroidery (up to 12,000 to 15,000 stitches), it can also be doubled up for added support on denser designs.
