Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled independent maintenance contractor to diagnose, repair, and maintain facility and production equipment that keeps our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, track, and perform preventative maintenance on textile-related machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery (mechanical and electrical).
- Perform general maintenance on plant equipment (screw-type compressors, loading dock equipment, HVAC filtering systems).
- Identify and help implement process improvements related to textile operations.
- Facilitate installation of new plant equipment, including coordination with third-party contractors.
- Maintain repair-part inventory and source suppliers for non-stock items.
Qualifications
- Proven experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of equipment (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic exposure a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude; able to work independently.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to safety.
