Position Overview

Midwest Textiles & Supplies is seeking a skilled and experienced independent maintenance contractor to join our team! As a valued member, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of equipment, keeping our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule, track and perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment related to the textile industry.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery (including both mechanical and electrical issues).
• Perform general maintenance on plant equipment (including screw type compressors, loading dock equipment and HVAC filtering system).
• Help identify and implement process improvements related to the textile industry.
• Facilitate the installation of new plant equipment including coordinating with independent contractors.
• Maintain repair part inventory and source part suppliers for non stocked items. 

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing a variety of equipment (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic a plus)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for finding solutions
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
• Self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic.
